Our heartfelt condolences go out to Bruce Scherf and his family for the recent loss of his brother Paul. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

Congratulations to Dave Rudey is a grandpa again; his daughter Tina recently gave birth to baby girl Kaitlyn Marie who was five pounds, four ounces.

Profit Sharing Plan: You may change your contribution rate to the plan beginning May 1, 2008 and ending June 15, 2008, with an effective date of the first full payroll period in July 2008 (if you meet the classification criteria). Please refer to your Summary Plan Description booklet that you recently received, or contact our fund office.

Fluxcor Welding Class is scheduled for Monday, April 28, 2008 through Friday, May 2, 2008. If you currently have state certification (SMAW) both positions, then you are eligible to sign up for this class. The FCAW Fluxcor certification test will be given on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. A $50.00 potentially refundable deposit is required before taking the certification test.

Welding Certification Tests (SMAW) are scheduled for the third Saturday of every month. In order to test, you need to contact Dee Dee (give her your potentially refundable deposit) to get on the list. Space is limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible.

Congratulations to the following individuals who completed their journey to becoming a JIW: Joe Prottengeier, Sean Casier, Frank Garrett, Mike Klatt, and Dave Ripinski.

Look for a mailing soon regarding our summer picnic in July 2008. The committee is busy making final arrangements.
